Information on Right of Revocation and Voluntary Returns

Consumers have a statutory right of revocation for distance contracts. In addition, IW Vertriebs GmbH grants a voluntarily extended return period of 30 days after receipt of the goods.

Voluntary return policy of 30 days

In addition to the statutory right of revocation, IW Vertriebs GmbH grants a voluntary return policy of 30 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, received the goods.

To meet this deadline, it is sufficient if you inform us of your wish to return the goods within 30 days of receiving them and then send the goods back to us within the deadline.

The voluntary return policy does not limit your statutory right of revocation and your statutory warranty rights. During the statutory revocation period, the following statutory regulations apply.

Statutory Revocation Policy

Right of Revocation

You have the right to revoke this contract within fourteen days without giving any reasons.

The revocation period is fourteen days from the day,

• on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken or has taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered uniformly;
• on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken or has taken possession of the last goods, provided that you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;
• on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken or has taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last piece, provided that you have ordered goods that are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces.

Exercising the Right of Revocation

To exercise your right of revocation, you must inform us by means of a clear statement, for example, a letter sent by post or an e-mail, of your decision to revoke this contract.

Observance of the Revocation Period

To observe the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of revocation before the expiry of the fourteen-day revocation period.

Consequences of Revocation

If you revoke this contract, we shall repay all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs, without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notification of revocation of this contract.

Excluded from reimbursement are additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us.

For the repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fees for this repayment.

We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is the earlier.

Return of Goods

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day return period.

Costs of Return

For our customers within Germany, returns are free of charge.

For returns from other member states of the European Union, you bear the direct costs of returning the goods yourself.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns from countries outside the European Union.

Compensation for Value

You only have to compensate for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary for checking the quality, characteristics and functionality of the goods.
